Safeguard Your Evidence

Keep backups of electronic evidence, and copies of physical evidence in a safe place, preferably at separate location and keep others informed of them.  Backups of electronic evidence can be stored on removable media, dedicated backup devices, or in "the cloud".  “Accidents” do happen.  Sorry but it is unfortunately a reality - acts of God and acts of man can compromise your case.  And God forbid, should your loved ones need to pursue a civil or criminal course without your assistance - they’ll know where to go.
