U.S. Federal Resources for Victims of Hacking

Often victims of cyberstalking and / or internet related harassment suffer situations involving not only the harassment itself, but may hacking has well.  Accessing any computer, or computer system without authorization is a federal crime.  In addition to various state laws, there are applicable U.S. Federal laws to prosecute those who violate their tenets: Specifically Computer intrusion (i.e.. hacking) and Internet harassment.

Note: Internet-related crime, like any other crime, should be reported to appropriate law enforcement and investigative authorities at the appropriate level(s) depending on the scope of the crime.  Statute of limitations do apply, but ensure you have enough documented information for your case.
